The Wisconsin Bat Monitoring Program relies entirely on grants and funding support from Wisconsin citizens and individuals interested in conservation
and management of insectivorous bats. Get involved in one or more ways:
- If you know of large numbers of bats in caves, mines, barns, bridges, churches, schools, or other buildings,
please contact Wisconsin Bat Program at (608-266-5216).
- Use approved, non-lethal methods to exclude bats from
your home.
- Build and install a bat house.
- Volunteer time for acoustic surveys or bat house monitoring.
- Contribute tax deductible donations needed for immediate projects.
- Donate funds to sustain a long-term program.
We have created a Conservation Endowment through the
Natural Resources Foundation of WI to
support the WI bat program in perpetuity. Be sure to select Endowed Fund for the Program
