Boreal Bluet (Enallagma boreale)

I netted a male and am confident in the id. I carefully viewed the appendages from the side and saw no upturned tooth. As with the clubtail, didn’t give it another thought as per county record. The grass was swarming with bluets and they all looked like Boreal.

Dusky Clubtail (Phanogomphus spicatus)

I netted this clubtail and inspected it with a lens. I saw the downward tooth on the cercifrom the side as well as a wavy occiput. I never thought much of it beyond that, didn’t think it would be a county record. The photo is poor and not supportive.
