Purpose:
Madison Audubon Society is working with the Wisconsin DNR to monitor bald eagle nests on a weekly basis through the nesting season. We seek to determine how many eaglets fledge from the nests and any disturbances that impede their successful fledging. Volunteers document all activity at the nest during each visit (nest building, egg laying, hatching, fledging, food delivery, etc.).
