Purpose:

To support the National Audubon Society and Wisconsin Society for Ornithology by conducting two annual Christmas Bird Counts, one in Manitowish Waters, WI and one in Minocqua, WI. To support the International Crane Foundation by conducting the Annual Midwest International Crane Counts for Vilas and Iron Counties. To contribute to the national bird population eBird database by regularly entering bird observation data into Wisconsin eBird. To contribute to the north central Wisconsin breeding bird data by providing volunteers for three area breeding bird survey projects
